In the past year, the Haedong Kumdo Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu community in the Netherlands has grown and flourished, with new leaders stepping up and a new generation of Black Belts being born. We are truly blessed to have such a passionate and dedicated team working together to provide exceptional training experiences for our members.
We are particularly proud of Sabeom Nim Dominic den Drijver, who has gone above and beyond in his contributions to our community. His hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed, and we are thrilled to announce that he has been nominated by Head Instructors Carla Kuster and Frank Heininga to be the next UWHKF Dutch Representative as of May 1st, 2023.
This is an incredible honor and a testament to Dominic’s leadership, dedication, and expertise in the martial arts. As the primary contact point for those outside our community, he will be instrumental in furthering our shared goals and values and ensuring that the joint course runs smoothly.
We are thrilled to have Dominic in this role, and we have no doubt that he will continue to inspire and motivate all of us to be our best selves in the pursuit of Haedong Kumdo mastery. We congratulate him on this well-deserved appointment and look forward to seeing all the incredible things he will accomplish in this new role.
